Ryan been subdued ever since he ran into the older Wesker. Not that it's easy to tell. This is Ryan, after all. He isn't one to advertise his emotions. He settles into a booth with a rather large meal (including meat, thanks ever so) and a cup of tea. He isn't really in the mood for company, but since when does that stop folks from saying hi?

Harriet is reading when she passes and trips on her own feet, falling with both arms out to brace herself.

"Ouch," she says, a little amused. "And they said I wasn't good at slapstick."

Glancing around, she hopes that no one noticed.

She's got Ryan watching her intently. Predatory, even, though there's nothing sexual about it. This is the real deal. Prey just tripped in front of a werewolf.

Fortunately, he already has food. Ryan gives his head a shake to reinforce that fact.

"You should be more careful," he offers, taking a bite of his meal.

Amused, "I'll try. I'm not really used to the floor yet," she deadpans. "It's so solid."

Standing, she sits down to check for damage, bruises that can't be covered with makeup, cuts, the sort of thing that would be harder to explain.

Ryan tilts his head. The problem with deadpanning is that it can be difficult to detect in someone you don't know.

"Is it less so where you come from?" This is Milliways. You never know.
