It's just about that time of year, isn't it? No one's told Judas, who doesn't especially know what day it is, but he's found himself feeling weak; he descends to the bar today, pulling at his collar with long fingers, and orders wine.

There's something in the air, he thinks.

Shakes his head: he must be imagining things.

Raguel wanders into the bar for a glass of water mid-workout. Or whatever he was doing out there. He's shirtless, his wings are still out, and if he was human he'd probably stink. Fortunately for Judas, he is not. Raguel blinks, surprised, when he sees him.

"Hey," he says, trying to turn to look without knocking anyone over with the wings. It's still not second nature.

Judas looks a little surprised at Raguel; he raises his eyebrows, amused, and permits the flash of an appreciative smirk.

"What's the occasion?"

He gestures loosely in the direction of Raguel's wings.

Raguel notices the strange look but assumes it's the angle at which his head is turned.

"Just practicing. I'm still kinda out of shape, and I'd rather not be. Just in case."

"In case of what?"

He raises the wine to his lips; drinks slowly, as if to steady himself against some outside force.

"Apparently, the world's ended already."

And Judas glances at the observation window.

Ilyana isn't the one to ask, as Christianity--much less holidays associated with such--don't exist in her world anymore.

She's on her way to the bar for a light meal. The man catches her eye. She offers a polite smile. "Good afternoon."

He smiles back. "Good afternoon."

She sits, but doesn't look away, regarding him thoughtfully. There's a drawing pencil tucked behind her ear, forgotten for the nonce. "Enjoying the
change of seasons, too?"

"Of course," he says. "I'm Judas Iscariot, by the way."

Waits.

"Hey."

The V of Lucifer's hand rests briefly on Judas' upper back - upper upper back - not quite neck. But close. Just an absent, friendly gesture, but there is a thoughtful expression on Lucifer's face as he leans against the table.

Judas closes his eyes for a moment, relaxing slightly.

"Shalom."

A quick, assessing glance.

"How are you?"

"I feel -- upset," he says. "Confused. And I don't know why."

His hand goes to his throat, fleeting; faintly brushes the smooth skin.

Xas, too, has a glass of wine. Red, if that matters.

He is sipping it slowly when he catches sight of Judas.

His mouth quirks in a faint smile and he stands, languidly, and approaches.

"Are you also a connoisseur of wine, Judas?"

"At one point I was a connoisseur of drunkenness," says Judas, turning to smile at him, a little surprised. "But that isn't really the same thing."

"No."

Xas' smile twists, turning almost wry.

"I, for instance, am more than capable of enjoying wine without the benefits of drunkness. Which is rather fortunate for me, really."

"I wonder if that's more or less expensive?"
