Puck, entirely by happy chance, is in the bar-- at the bar, even, where he is munching on an evening snack of snake filet.

COVERED IN CHOCOLATE.

He has not, to his knowledge, done anything wrong.

... Today.

[OOC: May have to call slowtime in a few hours-- tags welcome until then!]

But then why is Nick storming into the Bar, shoving anybody in his way out of the way without any regard and grabbing Puck, rather roughly, by the back of his neck?

"You," he says, voice nearly a growl as he jerks the fairy backward to look him in the eyes, "have one minute to explain to me why a man named Caspian just approached me outside and accused Blodwen of being a witch. I'm counting."

Puck goes oof! as he's grabbed by the collar, filets flying. He returns Nick's gaze with wide, slightly bewildered blue eyes.

There are several ways to play this one, including flat-out denial.

However, assuming Nick goes out and polls more than one person, that could backfire a lot.

"... Did I never mention?" he asks, innocently. "How negligent of me."

"Thirty seconds."

... and you'd better not try to pull the innocent act, Puck, or you're going to get strangled.

Nick's hand is already in the perfect position to do so!

"Tell me what you know. Now."

"Why ask me?" Puck huffs, squirming a little. "'Tis her own business, and surely not for gossip. You shouldn't like it if I went 'round telling tales about you."

If Draco knew of such a snack, there would be some odd eyeing.

But since he didn't, and wasn't yet aware of the fairy except with mild observations.

He was also sporting a new moonstone pendant around his neck where he lounged at a table nearby.

Draco has such girly jewelry!

Puck considers mocking him.

Instead, he merely flashes a sweet smile from his seat at the bar.

It's protective jewelry! Keeps him from being horribly maimed in numerous cruel ways.

Raised eyebrow at him, not buying the sweet smile for a second. Especially since he remembered their deal.

But he got up, and sat down at the bar by Puck.

"Usual night of mischief?" He asked casually.

"Mischief?"

Puck pouts.

"Really. You do malign me so."

Ingress is passing by on her way back to the House of Arch painting when she notices Puck.

And his snack.

"EWWWW!" she giggles. "What are you eating?!?"

Puck beams!

"Snake," he says cheerfully. "With chocolate. Care for a taste?"

"No! I don't eat snakes. Snakes are our friends."

She looks scandalized. Then she glances at the plate.

"I like chocolate, though."

Puck glances guiltily down at his snack food.

... Tom does like snakes, doesn't he.

"Well, I suppose that might be arranged." He taps Bar gently. "Cry your pardon, sweet, but perhaps ...?"

Say no more, seems to be the gist. A small piece of chocolate appears. Delicately, Puck plucks it up and presents it to Ingress with a flourish.

There's a clean-shaven!Wolfwood, waiting for his date at the same bar! Who'da thunk it!

And he's not in his usual outfit, he's got something a little more put-together and stylish on.

Puck's eyebrows arch.

Slurp goes a chocolate-covered snake.

"My, my," he says. "How very polished you look."

Nick smiled at that, brow arching archly.

"Robin, nice to see you again. You think so? I'm not going for impressive, but eh, I guess it'll have to do."

He chuckled. "What's that you've got there?" nodding to the snakes.

"Supper," Puck says cheerfully, swallowing one down.

"If I may ask, what are you going for?"

The words 'going for' sound as if he's quoting, which is because ... he is. Mimicry comes easily to him, but it's not necessarily natural.

The last time Chase talked to Puck, well...it was strange to say the least.

Chase is sitting at the bar as well, a few seats down with his coffee, clearly not paying any attention to him.

Puck is not paying any attention to Chase either!

Mmmmmhehasyummysnaaaaakes.

(After a moment or two, though, he may flash him a wholly pleasant smile of no recognition whatsoever.)
