Bartending

Garion, lacking a bartending icon FTWince, is settled at the bar, no drinks up on the board. He's got Beldaran with him, tucked into his arm and with the other he holds onto one of the drink recipe manuals, his lips quirking back and forth in indecision. Back and forth, back and forth, and eventually he closes it before laying it on the bar ( Read more... )

Cute baby and person he knows brings Will over, he's still in a good mood and realizes that Garion might actually know how women's minds work,

"Good even, milord, what tis good tonight?"

The good thing about watching Garion tickle Beldaran is that Will laughs and relaxes and isn't quite as deep red as before,

"Aye, makes sense when ye can make such a lovely lass laugh,"

Beldaran is getting a full grin from Will as he solemnly says,

"Aye, and ye'll be causin' such trouble for ye father with yer laugh, lass?"

She nods. A lot.

Garion sighs but kisses her hair.

"I've been told that I'm going to be having a number of daughters."

She smiles winningly up at him and he shakes his head.

"I don't think a man's doom has ever looked so pleasant."

Will's just going to laugh for a bit since its just nice to and Garion and Beldaran are just so sweet,

"Nay, twouldn't be a bad one at all. Aye, lass and 'ave to teach ye 'ow to dance so ye can meet outlaws by moonlight,"

Sorry, Garion, but its easier to talk to your daughter than you today.

She nods.

She's actually about four, but as she's a dryad, she's tiny enough to look only three or so.

She plays up on this. She's her mother's daughter. Small and cute.

"Okay!"

Another big grin at that,

"But ye'll also 'ave to dance with yer father else 'e'll get jealous and give yer suitors 'orrible tasks to do,"

Will is checking with Garion since he doesn't want to make him mad, but he just doesn't get to see enough happy children.

Garion's just grinning.

"Can I dance wi' you?"

Big green eyes are peering at you, Will.

"Aye, lass,"

And Will's meeting with his own green eyes that are full of laughter as he ponders the question of dancing,

"Twould need proper music though, 'ave to make sure yer feet dinna touch the ground."

Now those eyes are focused on her father... who folds like Superman on laundry day, as the saying goes.

"I'm sure we can arrange some music. Charlie would be happy to."

She bounces.

"Charlie!"

More laughter from Will,

"Aye and who's Charlie, tis not a name I know?"

"Charlie is an old friend from when I first came here. I was only eighteen then, a boy," he admits with a smile.

"Aye and is 'e a musician?"

Will's only seventeen and Garion makes him feel younger but in a nice way, good to see that there are men out there who live long enough to have a family and many children.

"He's a musician, yes, and a babysitter sometimes. A bard, really. In the truest sense of the word."

"Allan a Dale, 'e's another of Robin's men and 'as a lovely voice though 'e's a better fighter than creator of songs, milord."
