"I'm okay. Things're kinda quiet lately, at least here." She bends to start gnawing at the mantel. "Nita's got a thing coming up, though. Say hi or something if you see her."
"Pleased to meet you, Link." Chao sits back on his haunches. "I can sing some G & S for your benefit, if you like. I am the captain of the Pinafore and a right good captain too!"
Jilly recognizes the tune. It's one Geordie likes to play, though he rarely sings the words. And it's understandable, because no one would give any money to a busker who sang something like that.
"Is that even anatomically possible?" she asks when she's in earshot.
"With certain assistance. There are spells that could help, although using wizardry for body modification is always dangerous, and even more so if it's only for personal entertainment. How've you been, Jilly?"
"Huh," Jilly says. "Sounds like far more work than it's worth."
She grins at him. "Things are good, if a little puzzling. I found this thing," she says, putting a package down in front of her. It's about a foot high, seven inches wide. "And I'm still trying to figure out what it is."

"There you are, Chao," she says. "Got that meaning of life for us yet?"

Eh, he's met chicken-people. A singing pig isn't that weird.
"...you know there are children in the bar, right?"
