Gibbs is at the bar for a refill on his morning tea and rum, and nods at the man.

He's going to have to try that one of these days. Preferably after the testing, rather than before. That sort of thing tends to call for all his resources, and recovery usually makes him grumpy. "Morning," he greets the other man. "Don't believe I've seen you in here before."

"I tend to stay outside. On the Pearl. Bar's too well lit for my tastes." He's never going to be used to the hum of the strange lights, either. "Gibbs."

"Ah, that ship in the lake?" He nods. "Harry Wells. Yeah, I'd imagine it's a bit weird in here after a ship like that."

Steph is tired, but at least she's stopped with the thumping piano.

"Any news?"

Sure she talks to him sometimes when it's not about Zuko. It's just that that's the first thing on her mind.

Wells glances up. "Oh- hallo, Stephanie. Yeah, you could say that." He indicates the other seat at his table. "Sit if you like."

"Oh, that doesn't sound good." She drops into the seat and draws her knees up to her chest anxiously. "Bad?"

Wells gives a tired smile. "Zuko's out and about again, which is something, but he's still in a shitload of pain. The last I heard, he had a fifty-fifty chance of getting it cured without fucking him up worse than before."

Enter man and dog.

Nelly pads right on over to Sarge and bumps his arm. Cooper isn't quite so forceful, but he does give Wells a pat on the back before taking a seat net to him at the bar.

"Morning."

Hallo, Nelly, says Wells, leaning over to rub the big dog behind the ears a bit. (He doesn't have to lean far.) Only then does he look up and over to the human. "Morning, Coop," he says. "How've you been?"

He smiles.

"Had one hell of a headache but I'm all right today. You?"

Wells shrugs. "About as you'd expect. Spoon was poorly yesterday and I've got the school wanting four more girls tested by the end of the week, and us with no dogs but Ace's Magic while I'm away up there."
