Mallory has her hair in a pony tail, and is wearing a pair of cut-off sweatpants and a tank top, even though the day is still a bit cool for it. She figures she'll warm up as soon as she gets working.

She spots Asar-Suti at the tables, and walks over to get a cup of coffee and an assignment.

"Good morning!" She is cheerful at the prospect of gainful employment and the opportunity to be useful.

"Aren't you cold?" Asar-Suti said, hurrying to get a mug from the stack. "Tea or coffee? And would you like an apron? Some wellie boots? Good morning, Mallory!"

"Coffee is wonderful, thanks. I've been up since sunrise, and I have already been for my morning run. I'm pretty warmed up."

She eyes all the seeds and books, and takes an apron from the stack. She'll wait on the boots until she finds out what she'll be doing. Getting dirty is part of the fun, sometimes.

"Looks like you're really organized."

Asar-Suti filled a mug of coffee (the mugs were green and purple, of course), and handed it to her.

"You seem to be a very energetic woman," he nodded. Up since sunrise, and already been on a - run?

Molly and Cain came into the bar straight from the hospital, and Cain had ensconced Molly in a booth before going upstairs for a long, hot shower.

Tired of being cooped up and hovered over, Molly decides to sneak out back for some fresh air. Seeing Asar-Suti and a table full of seeds makes her smile, and she walks with only a tiny limp to take a seat across from him.

"Planting time again, I see."

"Oh," Asar-Suti said. "Molly - I hadn't heard from you, so I supposed you wouldn't be here. It's good to see you again. How are you?"

"I honestly hadn't expected to be here. We've been spending a lot of time in London. I'm going to be having a baby in August, and it wouldn't do for my pregnancy to advance here while time stood still at home. It would be just a little suspicious."

She grins and puts a light hand to her slightly expanding belly. It's not really very visible yet, unless you look - she's wearing a thick sweater.

"I just wanted to let you know that I wouldn't be able to help out much this season. I don't mind pitching in when I am here, but I wouldn't be very dependable."

"Well, Molly," Asar-Suti said, "I wouldn't expect you to. Of course, Morgan was pregnant, and so was Eilinel at some point, but it doesn't mean that I always have to have a pregnant woman on the team. If you just want to putter in gardens a bit at times, you might want your own patch. I' thinking of offering them this year. Would you like some tea or coffee?"

Enzo has been cruising out back on his zipboard, observing with fascination the seasonal changes to the landscape. This 'weather' stuff is alphanumeric! Mainframe should totally get some.

Spotting the small cluster of people and activity, he drops altitude and swings over to investigate. "What's processing here?"

Always fun to meet somebody who looked stranger than oneself, even in Milliways!

The purple deity in the middle of all the activity looked up and answered, "Gardening!"

Purple deity, meet green sprite.

"Like with plants? Cool! Hey, my sister gave me some seeds, Bar's keeping 'em for me, d'you think you could show me how to plant 'em?"

"You can have a patch where you can grow them," Asar-Suti said. "What kind of seeds are they?"

Snowball is there, listening for any new instructions. No piglets with him today.

He'll pass on the wellies.

[ooc: As already explained to AS-mun, Snowball's mun is in the middle of her exams so replies may be slow (as in very slow), but bearing that in mind tags still welcome.]

"I'm glad to see you, Snowball," Asar-Suti said. "Actually, do you think you could dig up the ground on the other side then where the herb garden is? That's where I want to put the new private patches."

Those would probably be offensive for a communist boar, but they'd have to live with that.

Actually, Snowball has no objection to private patches. It would encourage people to plant new species without disturbing lawn order. Now if only the rich or those of a certain species were allowed them, he might object.

"And you too comrade. And yes, I'll get right to it.

He heads over to the required patch and gets to work.

"I'll send you help when I get it," Asar-Suti said, looking after him.

What a very reliable fellow.

Malu's left her puppy up in her room, sound asleep. She looks around at the garden, taking note of everything Asar-Suti's laid out.

Don't mind her as she makes a beeline for the tea.

"You like tea?" Asar-Suti said, drinking coffee himself.

She nods. "It's really beautiful out here," Malu comments.

Noticing that there are others outside who are already working she asks, "What do you need me to do?"

"Can you prepare seedboxes?" Asar-Suti asked.
