Lilly's gotten a booth and a mug of (spiked) coffee. There's some paperwork about the changes to the brothel in front of her, but she keeps looking away from it to glance around the bar.

It's never easy for her to stay focused on one thing at a time, but it's gotten a little harder these days.

This probably won't help with the focus much, but here comes a blast from the past: Cigarette in one hand and a slow comfortable screw in the other (courtesey one Captain Mu Ji), Meg's Papi slips into the other seat in her booth.

Lilly blinks, looking across the table in surprise.

"Hey there. S'been a while."

It has, but there are some people you just don't forget.

Desire grins. "In a manner of speaking. Love what you've done upstairs."

Lilly looks both proud and faintly smug.

"Thanks! Means a lot coming from you. And of course, you're welcome there any time."

She smiles hopefully at Desire.

"We're expanding, you know. Into a nightclub-slash-brothel."

[balletrat]

*On one of those glances, she'll probably catch Meg, coming through the bar on her way between the House of Arch and upstairs, with a brief pause to pick up a cup of coffee.

Which turns into a longer pause when she sees Lilly! Plus waving!*

Lilly straightens up, waving back enthusiastically.

"Meg, hey!"

*Changing direction, Meg starts to pick her way towards Lilly's table.*

Hey! Ca va? I haven't seen you in a bit -

"Yeah, I know," Lilly says, glancing down at her papers. "Inara and I have been working on some expansion to the brothel, and beyond that..."

She smiles a little wryly at her BFF.

"I totally have cabin fever."

[obligatoryass]

Logan fairly pounces on her. "Gorgeous!" he says. "Dude, it's been forever. How's it shaking?"

It really has been a long time.

Way, way too long, but Logan'd get that smile anyway.

"Logan! Holy shit, I was beginning to think you were stuck in Neptune for life. How are you?"

[obligatoryass]

"I was stuck in the Grand for like a month, but that was due entirely to my own idiocy. You know things in life are bad when Dick is the voice of sanity, right?"

And of course she gets a hug. Logan can't help but hug Lilly.

"And the prelude to that whole craziness there was that Veronica and I broke up. For good, I think."

It's hard to tell which statement gets more shock from Lilly, Dick being the voice of sanity or Veronica and Logan breaking up.

"...really? Damn. What happened?"
