The Sharpie was gone, but Katara's leathers are missing, and in their place is an elaborate black outfit, with a fancy mask and wig, along with a very fine hat.

Oh, and a cape.

Jet has no idea who that is. So he doesn't bother peering at the masked person anymore deeply then he peers at anybody else.

He is drearily normal. Sorry! Also, eating something, because he's hungry.

Awwww, that's no fun.

A mask, however, is tons of fun.

Catching him watching her, Katara advances slowly, carefully, cat-like and quiet!

You know, it's not a good idea to sneak up on your freedom fighter boyfriend with a sword, buuuuut... this costume comes with a sword.

There is the clean whisper of metal against metal-- and the masked person stands before Jet with the tiny point the sword tapping against his shoulder.

No, really. Tapping. Like someone might poke another's shoulder to get their attention, not attack. Also, bad grip for a swordsman, masked or no.

....yeah, Jet has to TOTALLY give the MASKED MAN an EYE. Because, you know, that's the click-click-click of metal against metal, the tip tapping against his shoulder piece.

You just don't do that.

No violence in the bar, right? But he turns in his seat, slowly, to EYE the man. "...you're holdin' that wrong, y' know."

The mask tilts, as if eyeing the gloved hand's hold on the sword and then adjusts a little. -- though now the sword is held in a fist.

Tap tap tap.

Toph doesn't even look up from where she's sitting and sipping a cup of tea. It's easy enough to figure out that it's Katara by the vibrations. Of course, what she can sense of her new outfit is a point of interest.

"Katara. What's with the... um... that?"

"Shhh!" says Katara, stepping very close to Toph so no one else can hear her voice. "This stuff was in my room - there's a mask, too. All my clothes were gone, too. I want to see how many people I can fool."

And you thought only you were this much fun, Toph.

"Jeez, what's with everyone and pretending to be someone else lately?" she mutters, and then takes a swig of tea. "So what should I call you?" She smirks a bit. "I bet I could think of something good..."

"No." sez Katara who's smiling face is hiding the glare she is sending Toph's way. "You're not giving me any more nicknames after the last one. And I don't know what the outfit is about, but-- well, some of the other women here definitely aren't wearing that much."
