And Alex is out again, swimming, letting the cooler but still not cold water cushion him, and roll around him. This is the kind of thing he could get used to.

Steph is a leaf on the ... water. Arms stretched out, peaceful face haloed by long golden hair, swaying gently with the movement of the water; she's not going to notice anything unless she bumps into it.
Sometimes you just need to relax. (And not with a worryingly attractive older blonde, either.)
