Thusly, there is Vesper Lynd.

Who, rather then drinking away her troubles Like certain people digs deep with her existential literature.

Hence why she is in the bar, hair hanging in her eyes, fingers tapping on the table as she turns a page. All she's missing is a cigarette and she could easily pass for someone gothic, or someone nihilist.

There is now someone leaning over her, arms pressed against the table on either side of her.

"You read the most depressing literature."

"Well, you know what they say about art-" Vesper is completely lost in the story by now, "If you're not evoking emotion of some kind-"

She shrugs, "...I had something more comprehensive to say about it." She waves a hand, "Are you holding up all right?"

She responds with a pleased noise that might sound slightly disbelieving, but that's probably just the inborn cynicism that reading and growing up with literature like this fosters.

She leans back into him however, staring up at him, "...I'm sorry I've been so occupied with books like these."
