There's a transgenic in the bar, away from most of the patrons if only because of the scents. But his hazel eyes are watching the patrons... a slight growl escaping his lips. Though not at any of the patrons... not really at anyone. The boy just has problems with memories deciding to show up. Those of what Manticore had done to him.

There's also a cat in the bar, wandering and watching.

And out of all the scents the new one is more comforting. It might be because its a cat. You never know. Or it could be for another reason entirely. But he's caught the cat's scent and those hazel eyes look towards it.

...huh.

The man smells like a cat. Not the way Liz does, with hints of Lucybelle's scent sticking to her clothes. No, it's mixed into his scent, fully part of him.

This requires a closer examination.

The young transgenic hunkers down a bit more to the cat's level and a purr escapes his throat.

Yeah... it might surprise the cat but the purr sounds more like the sound an actual cat would make rather than a failed attempt at a sound that a human would make when they try to purr.
