This is the second time that Riku has spotted her in the bar. He is tempted to make his way out of the bar without talking to her at all, but he did proclaim (multiple times) that he was not going to give up.
He's tired, deep down to his very bones, but he's not going to avoid this encounter. The one thing that Riku never does is give up. In most cases He's not going to start now.
"You decided to return," he says, just standing nearby for now.
The sound of Riku's voice, admittedly, startles her. For while she had been observing a couple of patrons by the main area of the bar, she hadn't noticed Riku. He's always been very good at hiding when he wanted to.
She does spot him now, though. And she smiles a little.
This is a smile that used to do nothing but make him feel just a little bit happier, no matter what was going on at the time. But right now, all it does is make him feel guilty. Guilty for his reckless actions in the past few days, guilty for his poor reactions... for all the fights he's stirred, with foe and friend.
He utters none of this. It's out of place, and nothing he wants her to know, anyway. But he offers no smile in return, either.
"And here I thought you'd be trying to avoid me," he says, before he can stop himself. Yet another thing to regret.
She notes Riku's vaguely cold demeanor towards her and she doesn't particularly blame him for it. After all, she's put him through a lot, hasn't she? And what right, really, does she -- or did she -- have to do that?
She is, after all, a Nobody. No matter how complete she is when she is one with Kairi, she -- Naminé -- still remains a being without a heart to call her own.
She is careful to choose her words as she asks, "What reason do I have to avoid you?"

"Yes," she replies.
