Carl went back to San Francisco after lunch yesterday... and promptly realized he'd forgotten to leave a note for Val, at the very least. Which wouldn't be such a big deal, only he's thinking her input on the paperwork stuff could be helpful ( Read more... )

Val laughs. "I didn't even really know it was happening, honestly. After I got married, the door just... didn't open back in my old universe anymore. It kept opening to Coruscant. Or, well, whatever planet I was on last."

No weirder than Suzi getting hungry in relation to everyone else. Carl's still not entirely sure how that one works, and it may well be unexplainable, at least in terms he'd get.
