Greg Sanders wasn't expecting Milliways to pop up in the kitchen while helping to prepare Christmas Eve dinner, and he certainly doesn't look pleased about it now.

"Having fun?"

"Oh yeah. It's not watching my cousins chase one another around a collapsible table, but it's fascinating material anyway." Greg shot her a grin. "Hi, Sara."

"Hey. Good turnout for Christmas?"

"My entire delightful family back in San Gabriel. There were palm readings, and now we're cooking, except Milliways showed up in the pantry instead of the basmati rice."

Kevin emerges from the infirmary, and smiles when he sees Greg, wandering over.

"Hey."

"Happy holiday of choice, unless of course it's not for you. I never understand the timeflow here," Greg replies, raising his water in salute.

"It is", Kevin says, having no drink but making a vaguely similar gesture anyway. "And that'd be Christmas."

"In that case, Merry Christmas, because you're not British and thus probably don't use 'happy' there," says Greg, who is quick on the uptake about nationality.

"Anything new out there?"

He's sitting not too far away, feasting on something roasted and dead and drinking what actually looks to be ale.

"Nope. Just exploding. At least it changes patterns every now and then."

"Does it?" he asks curiously. "Or does your angle change?"

"... that's possible too."

Sikozu has missed Greg. Not that she'll admit it or anything. She's also recently discovered that humans (not very much to her surprise, of course) have difficulty asking for things they want on occasion. So she's decided to take more initiative herself.

That's why she will wander up to Greg and, finding him under some mistletoe still hanging around the bar, give him a soft kiss.

And then possibly wander away.
