Edmund is surreptitiously attempting to get a look at what she's drawing, if he can manage to see without being rude about it.

Romana quickly sketches out a complex formula. Vague shapes resolve on the screen.
After a moment, she surreptitiously erases a '4' and replaces it with a '2', and changes the phi to a lambda.
Oh look, it's a model of Edmund.

She is still rather young, according to her species. She's allowed to be impish at times.
