Charlie turns--and glomps. "Hey," he says, voice muffled in Darien's shirt.

A hand is already going through Charlie's hair.

"Sunshine..."

He leans down for a kiss into that hair before tipping his chin to the purple frosted thing with the candle.

"What, you think I wasn't gonna pull up my baking fu for you, babe?"

"You made this? Awww . . . I thought it was just the Bar keeping up our tradition." Darien gets kissed.

And kissed.

And kissed some more.

Liam wouldn't forget his baby brother's birthday. He's carrying a small black CD storage case when he comes in and looks around, and he's smiling.

Charlie hops up and hugs him. "Hi! Want some cake?"
