Kris walks down the corridor from the Infirmary. He has to put up a hand against the sudden brightness

Kris stops, looks at the other man. "No." He doesn't see much point in
pretending.

He nods.

"My name's Guppy, and I'm a doctor. Is there anything I can do to help you?"

Gentle, but not pushy.

Right now, Kris isn't so much worried about 'pushy'.
"Unless you can explain why I'm here--I'm not sure," he answers. "Or where here 'is'."

A small, warm bag of cookies is placed beside him by a friendly looking blonde man.

"Happy St. Nicholas' Day."
