Pan zlins...weird. So. Suzi, head tilted slightly, is watching him. She's not staring, exactly. She's zlinning for all she's worth, laterals extended slightly to make that easier.

"Oh, we switch around a lot." She may not hear Pan, she's about as psychic as a doorknob, "Its um. Easier that way. Some people end up in the L.O.T. relationships, but that's sort of dangerous."

Lyra's used to asking lots and lots of questions. "What does 'L.O.T. stand for, and why is it dangerous?"

"Lortuen, Torluen, and Orhuen. They're three words to mean the same thing? Transfer dependency. Male Sime/Female Gen, Female Sime/Male Gen, or same-sex. People in an L.O.T. relationship can only give and recieve Transfer from their partner, so if one dies they both do. Channels in L.O.T. relationships can still give Transfer to renSime, but they can only recieve donation from their partner." That's fine, Suzi asks a lot of questions herself.

Or at least she usually sounds like she does.

If she can keep Sime and Gen straight, they're good. "Its complicated, and, um. Confusing? Even for me, and my, um. My biological function is to make it all work?" She laughs, softly, and shakes her head.

"It's important to have a function," Lyra says. "As long as it's the right function, and you find joy in it."

"Oh...I do." She says, grinning, "Its...its good. What I do? I save lives, every time I do what I'm for. I save lives, and it feels good."
