She has not felt especially inclined toward company for the past few days, as it happens. Instead, Moiraine has spent the time in her study, searching among histories and legends for anything that might stand as a solution to a potentially very large problem. At some point, probably before she gets the note, Moiraine is waved at by another small, dark-haired woman.

This one, however, has tentacles and brilliant red high-heels on. We can be pretty sure that neither of these is likely to occur for Moiraine. Suzi starts to say something, looks vaguely confused, and then tries,

"Hello...what is the proper way to address a channel from your world? In, um, well in the householdings its Hajene...like Hajene Darley, or Tigue, or whatever? But only when we're working?"

"'Aes Sedai' is likely the title that you are looking for," she replies. "'Moiraine Aes Sedai,' or 'Moiraine Sedai,' although the latter is more commonly used. However, you may simply call me Moiraine."

A beat.

"Good afternoon, Suzi. Unless you would prefer that I call you otherwise?"

"No, Suzi is fine. Even at Keon I'm only Hajene Darley when I'm on duty." Channels are, as they have noted, rather different for the two women, "Good afternoon, Moiraine. This is, um, your normal body? You zlin the same, both ways, but since its not Halloween...?"

"Since it is no longer Halloween, I am no longer given the form of an elven lady," the Aes Sedai confirms -- a touch dryly.

Michael, sitting further down the Bar, catches the expression on her face and the sigh as he glances up to wave, and his smile fades a little.

"Moiraine?"

"Michael." Moiraine folds the paper and places it in her belt pouch as she offers him a faint, serene smile. "It has been some time. How are matters with you?"

"Surprisingly peaceful", is the answer after a moment's consideration. "I'm not sure if that means we've finally rooted out the factions, or they've just gone quiet. But I hope for the first one."
