Curiosity picks at Rand, but he doesn't try to read as Nynaeve writes. As she looks up at him, he nods.
"We shall. I figure that a Gateway is the most surefire way of getting both of us back. If being ta'avern works in my favor for once..."
He doesn't finish the sentance. Instead, he embraces saidin, the sweet sickly feeling flooding through him, and a glow appearing about his body. He weaves quickly, before Nynaeve can really get a close look at him, and a Gateway opens in the middle of the bar. Little but a murky gray can be seen beyond it.
"It always looks like that from this side," he murmurs.

"Are--oh. Bar, paper, please?"
Bar obliged, and Nynaeve scrawls a hasty note for Moiraine.
Moiraine,

Light keep you both safe,
--Nynaeve ti al'Meara Mandragoran
The note disappears, and Nynaeve tosses her braid over her shoulder, looking up at Rand.
"That's that taken care of, then. Shall we go?"

"Mightn't it be best to try the door, first? I--"
She tilts her chin up.
"It can't hurt, can it?"
