It's November. It's getting chilly in New York.

So when Nita enters the bar, she's already in a warm jacket, and she figures she may as well head outside.

Where she stops and blinks at the lake.

"There is a ship!"

(Yeah, Nita hasn't been outside much lately.)

Yuna is out here, also watching the lake; looking for a tall white fin.

(She's worried that the shark is lonely. Yuna is possibly insane.)

"Oh, yes," she says, looking up. "It's Captain Jack's."

[nita_callahan]

(Well, so is Nita, if it's any consolation?)

She glances over. "Yeah, I think someone mentioned the name. Just wasn't expecting it."

[night_hibiscus]

"I've been over on it," she says. "It's very nice."

For, er, being half-rebuilt. "And Captain Jack is very kind."

"I'm Yuna." She bows, briefly, with an accompanying hand gesture.

[nita_callahan]

Nita gives her a deep nod in return. "Dai'stiho -- I'm Nita. Nice to meet you."

[it_has_teeth]

And eventually, if she stands there long enough, a vast white fin breaks the surface of the lake and begins to circle.

Slowly.

She brightens a little, and comes down to the water's edge.

"Hey."

[it_has_teeth]

"Sprat."

Ed's voice is dry, circles carrying him a little nearer the shore.

[nita_callahan]

"Long time no see."

A fair amount's happened. She puts her hands in her pockets and watches him circle.

"How're you doing?"

[action_antihero]

Jack's outside for a walk when he hears the exclamation from behind him and turns to see who it is.

Ah, Nita. Someone else who deserves an explanation for his behaviour the other day.

"Uh, hi, Nita. You just noticed that?" he asks, walking toward her. He might look just a little sheepish.

[nita_callahan]

"I haven't been around much," she replies, turning towards him with a wry smile. "Especialy not outside."

[action_antihero]

"Yeah, I haven't seen you in much." Except, of course, for a few nights ago. "Uh, look, about the other night..."

[nita_callahan]

She raises her eyebrows. "What, the night before Halloween?"
