First thing in the morning Cassie dressed, went downstairs and asked Bar for a fairly large amount of food. Then she headed outside, looking for any sign of movement. First she went by the lake, but not seeing him there, she went to the woods.

She didn't really expect to find him, but she had to try.
If nothing else she'd leave the food in hopes that he'd find it.

When he saw her, he shuddered, and then went still. She was back. She had given food, and warmth... but she had also asked questions and pushed and there was pain.

A faint whine escaped him as he hunched back into the bushes. He didn't want the pain, not today, not anymore.

Somewhere, deep inside, a part of him hurt, a part of him recognized her, but he was so weak, so little left, and he couldn't... it wasn't enough. Chaos roiled in his mind and he receded, leaving the Beast in control, and the Beast hunched lower, quieter.

Her head turned sharply to the left. Was that something there?
Her eyes scan the trees carefully.

Must not have been.

She moves on slowly.

After a time she sighs softly. He either is not here, or is hiding. And if he's hiding, the liklihood of her finding him is nill. She sets the food down on the ground, hoping that he'll find it before the demon bunnies or other creatures.
May you find your way, Dr. Blue. I hope this helps a little.

She stands and heads back towards the bar.

Long after she is gone, he waited, until all chance of being seen is gone.

Then he raced out and took the items, and then retreated again, and vanished into the woods. Food was good. Food was wanted. He remembered, and he ate, and it was good.
