A Narnian -- or an Englishman -- and his tea are not easily parted.
Which is to say: Edmund is at a table, with tea and half a steak and kidney pie. The pie is being largely neglected in favor of his sketchbook, but the tea is not.

All the same, a king is a diplomat, and Edmund the Just was ever a graver man than his brother, and so he smiles after only that moment of surprise, and reaches for the rose. "Er -- Thank you very much."
It is a lovely flower.

Getting the sense of regalness from this man Pikel dips into a quick bow before offering his hand to Edmund.

"Pleased to meet you," Edmund says gravely, inclining his head in response before he clasps the dwarf's hand. It's astonishingly familiar, the feel of that horny callused hand, and he ignores (through long practice) the stab of wistful longing for Narnia.
"I'm Edmund."
Oo Oi doesn't sound like any language Edmund has ever heard, and so he has to trust that the tone will translate well enough to serve.
