Mal's leaning against the legs of a chair, feet bare and stretched out towards the flames. Head half-back, she watches the patrons with a rather lethargic expression.
No. Rabastan will have plenty to complain about when the winter weather comes in.
He'll be running in it after all...
Sudden stop when he sees Narcissa sitting where she is. His first thought is Draco. His second thought has to do with Draco knowing about Rabastan's misfortune. His third thought is "Did Draco tell Narcissa and does she know?"
Only one way to find out and that's to start up a conversation.

It could mean 'none of your business' or simply be an indication that if Mal wants to know, she'll just have to ask. Verbally.

It's not enough to alleviate his discomfort, some of which is physical, and will be more apparent when he sits down.
Especially the ruined left hand.
"Hello Narcissa," he says. Even his voice sounds ill-at-ease.
