Wellard is in the bar, taking in some of the other patrons' dress with a bit of amusement. As for him- he is dressed as he usually is.

(Not a navy uniform, but a shirt, waistcoat, and trousers of similar cut, in dark colors.)

You see, something to realize about pirates, if often times they look just like everybody else.

Clive smiled, just a little, nodding a greeting on his way past, "Ahoy."

He smiled then, shaking his head, "No big deal if you cant, s'just weird for me to have someone calling me 'mister' y'know?"

"Its rather what people keep telling me, and what I've seen to be the custom here, for the most part. Its just... When you grow up used to doing something, or saying something..."

He nodded, smiling again, "Yeah. I know how it is."

"Where- and when- are you from, Clive? If I may ask, then?"

He smiled, "Earth to start, Sandusky Ohio to be more specific, 2002. Though it'll be 2003 soon enough."

He tilted his head, "And you?"

"Earth seems to be common enough, thankfully." Wellard chuckles quietly.

"Formerly of His Majesty's Ship the Renown, late of the West Indies, 1802."

Both brows arched, "... seriously?" He'd met people from before his time before, but not so often that it wasn't still new, and a surprise.

"Ah... yes." Wellard blinks, and nods slowly.

"We're currently- well, back then at least- at war with France and Spain."
