She didn't get it, though, as there was a small and slightly purple deity coming along in very purple wellie boots.

"Nerdanel!" he exclaimed, his pleasure very obvious in his voice.

She looks up, face smudged with dirt and hair escaping her sloppy braid.

"Suilad, Sooty!" Nerdanel greets with a big grin. "How do you fare, meldir?"

"Brilliant!" Asar-Suti said, squatting down beside her to give her a hug. "Even more brilliant now I've met you!"

Nerdanel returns the hug, though she does manage to smear mud on his back.

"It's been a bit, hasn't it?" she asks, sitting back on her heels.

Too Bad because she is being hugged by an immortal.

Jack rolls over the grass towards her and touches her lightly on her foot.

Shufti is a little way away, doing sword drill. She stops when she notices Jack has moved, and comes over, sheathing her sword.
