[OOM: Bran Davies is leaving for university next week. At Clwyd Farm, he and his da get ready.]
Bran always carries his golden harp with care, but as he comes into the bar today, he handles it with especial reverence. He will miss it, when he goes.
It's been so long. So very long, and still Anne's cheeks flush when she catches sight of that shock of white hair and the flash of gold always with it. Her voice, when she steps softly up to his side, is very soft, as are those shifting gray-green eyes.
Bran straightens, nods at her. He didn't bring his sunglasses today, but something about his expression suggests that if he had, he'd be putting them on. "Hallo, Anne."
"Oh, don't--don't look like that," she pleads. "It's been so long since I've seen you. And you're looking very well, Bran, it's--it's terribly good to see you, though I suppose you don't feel the same at all."
Her eyes are very wide, and her hands twist together in front of her waist, pale and delicate, as she faces him.
