[ooc: This thread takes place between 3 and 5 on the Armageddeon Clock.]The Clock has been sitting there, seeming to be oblivious to all who come by. It has endured much from various people, even speaking briefly to someone who could talk to it ( Read more... )

Khayman was unobtrusively lurking in a dark corner nearby and keeping half an eye and a bit of an ear on that thing.

He didn't come too close, though, as he didn't want to be de-vampired as well.

Molly bites her lip. She can see that it has been moving faster, and that's worrying.

She wonders if Cain has noticed, too. She'll ask him as soon as she sees him next. She's pretty sure he went out to train again, and she has work to do in the gardens.

She gives the clock as wide a berth as possible as she exits out the back door.

Aravis hasn't noticed the clock's hands moving faster, or slower, or much at all. At least, not until she could no longer convince herself it was just another innocent, if eclectic, feature of this place. Other people seem bothered by it, though some more than others, and she herself is beginning to dread seeing it every day in the bar.

Sometimes the only way to deal with a thing you're dreading is head-on.

As such, she's doing so. Sort of. Periods of writing are broken by periods of staring at the clock just daring it to go off while she's right here watching it, smug and silent timepiece that it is.

Agnes has been spending most of her time in Jack's world since that thing arrived. She knows when something has signs and portents around it, and that clock was just covered in them.

But he was off doing his superhero thing, and Agnes felt like some dinner. So, she's gotten herself a bread bowl filled with a hearty stew along with a mug of spiced cider, and is currently looking around for a place to sit.

It can be difficult at times when the bar is crowded to find somewhere to light. At a time like this, in the interest of civility, even the most comfortably situated Tarkheena can find it within her generous spirit to do unto another as she would have done for her.

She tries to catch the other girl's eye as she lowers her feet from the chair they were occupying. She also leans across to brush off any dust they might have left. It's only polite, after all.

Under other cirumstances, Agnes would be hesitant to join a stranger, but there are more compelling forces at work here, namely that the plate is quite hot and she'd rather not be holding on to it much longer.

So, she smiles a thanks at the (thin) girl and heads over to the offered seat.

"Thanks. Place is a bit full tonight, huh?" she says after getting her plate and mug situated.
