Amy came in this evening in trailing gown of gold-brown brocade, went straight to the House of Arch, and has reemerged in a much much simpler grey wool dress. She's relishing not having to dress up while she can.

She's settled in over by the fireplace, with tea, watching the comings and goings in the bar.

Company would be simply lovely.

"Good evening, Amy." Cywyllog gives her a warm smile, on her way to the bar for a tea refill. "You look terribly happy."

"That is because I am terribly happy, and frightfully bad at not looking it," says Amy, grinning. "Good evening, Cywyllog. How are you?"

"I am well." She grins back. She can't help it, it's infectious.

"Is there a particular reason? There must be. No one ever looks quite that happy without one."

"Marriage agrees with me," says Amy, serenely. "Quite a bit, actually."

Ennis don't know she's looking for company, but he's nearby, too, with a cup of coffee, and settles down on the couch with something almost like a smile.

Her smile (somehow) gets brighter.

"Good evening, Mr. Ennis."

"Evenin', Ms. Amy."

A sip of the coffee, and his eyes are warm.

"Seem t'got an awful big smile, there."

"Yes, I rather suppose I do," says Amy. "But then, it's a good evening for them. You almost have one yourself."

Given how fancy and more than likely heavy those sorts of gowns can be, Wellard certainly cannot blame Amy for changing to something simplier-

He has certainly been out of uniform himself, since he came back from the trip aboard the Pearl.

And Wellard can agree with her about the company.

"Henry," she says, standing up to greet him properly. Which, of course, means that he gets a hug. "How lovely to see you."

Which, means only one moment of mental flailing before he carefully hugs Amy back. "Quite good to see you as well, Amy."

Wellard pulls back just enough to smile at her. "It quite seems as if you're doing well, being married."

"Frightfully, horridly, shamefully well," she says, laughing. "I don't think I've ever been happier. And how are you?"
