Re-entry for Don

Jun 26, 2006 17:17

Don was attempting a sting entry when suddenly he re-enters Milliways. The bar was just as busy as ever and Don was stunned. He spent a week just trying to get back but unexpectedly he returned.

Wanting to welcome him back?

Jack will.

"Hey!"

Don hears a familiar voice and spins to see Jack standing there with a smile, which makes Don smile and he shakes his hand and quickly embraces him for a hug.

"It's been a long time."

"Yeah." And a lot's happened, too. "How have you been?"

"Well, considering the kind of week I had outside Milliways - and yes I finally managed to leave and return - it's been okay."

"But I guess I can save this story for a little bit later. So tell me Jack, how have you been?"

And did he managed to resolve the problem with the woman they spoke of a while ago?

Wendy is sitting on the floor by the door, smoking a cigarette.

Looks like another one has arrived. Either that or I've just never seen him here before. I don't look up, just stare at his shoes really.

"Holding a gun around here usually doesn't attract the masses."

It could be taken in a "That's a crappy weapon compared to stuff here" way or a "People don't like guns" way. It's most likely the first, but it could be the second.

He wondered who was speaking for a moment and spun around almost in his own place and saw a woman he hadn't recognised before. I say she just hasn't seen him around.

"Well I wouldn't blame the masses for disagreeing with the use of weapons."

And he stepped closer towards her. "But don't worry, they have nothing to worry about. It won't ever be used in here."

"Yeah, you say that now. Wait until someone gets in your face."

Don nodded and shrugged. "I wouldn't doubt confrontation at all, maybe a threat here and there if it becomes personal but it's not something I want here."

He offered a smile and extended his hand. "Don't think I've had the pleasure. Special Agent Don Eppes, FBI."
