There's a witch sitting on a couch. What, you want specifics? Alright, this particular witch happens to be Thea Harman, with a large dusty book, wrapped in a big cosy blanket. There may be room for two and she doesn't mind snuggling. Unless you are a skeaze :p

There is a tall, slender woman with pointed ears and copper hair hunched over a young child. He looks to be about eight months old, and she is holding his hands as he tries to support his weight on his legs.

Each time he falls, they laugh, and then he gets back up and they walk a little closer to the witch on the couch.

It was the boy who grabbed her attention first, but when she looked up at the mother to laugh softly, the ears certainly gave her pause. Thea, however, regained her composure quickly, under the pretence of tucking a stray strand of hair behind her quite ordinary ear.

"He's beautiful."

Nerdanel looks up and smiles at the lovely woman.

"Thank you."

Gabriel plops down again and grins at Thea.

"He's growing so fast. I forget how swiftly the early days pass."

"No time at all he'll be eighteen and making eyes at all the pretty girls." Thea joked, turning on her sofa to get a better look.

"Just look at that smile. What a heartbreaker."

Inari walks past on her way to the bar, dressed for summer in denim shorts, a blue baby doll t-shirt and flip-flops. She remembers having spoken to Thea when she was in the bar before- she was looking through a book then too.

"Isn't it a bit warm for blankets?"

"Are you kidding? I'm used to Nevada." Thea wrinkled her nose. She probably wouldn't deny the fact that she was a sun bunny. Since coming to Milliways her blonde hair had darkened from lack of sunlight.

"Nice," she says grinning. "I'm from Chicago. Cold winters is what I'm use to. Gets hot in summer, but not quite Nevada hot."

"That's why Gran's there. The heat. She has bad lungs."

Thoughts of home made her sad, they always did and she looked up, just to make sure the door wasn't back.

Nothing.

"I've been through Chicago a couple of times. Windy."
