A familiar face, perhaps.
Bruce smiles as he stands and walks over, several large books in his hands.
"How are you?"

"Bruce, hi!" she greeted in return, motioning for him to sit. "I'm good, really good. How about you? What're you reading?"

He shoves the glasses on his face back up as they threaten to fall off and nods.
"I'm okay. Just been working on studying as usual. Some texts on radiation and mutation."
He smiles again.
"Where have you been? It has been... awhile."

"Oh, you know, saving the world with my vast intellect and sharp wit." She tossed him a quick wink, smile growing. Which was to say, she'd not been doing much of anything of note. Well, beyond hanging out with giant, talking turtles.
"It's been too long, probably," she added, considering. "You know how it is. Life steps in, and before you know it, it's been an age. But I can't ever stay away." Milliways held several rather important claims on her heart, after all.

"Looking for something?" she called, and motioned to the kittens amiably.

Their meeting did not occur entirely by chance; he had been waiting for her. He could profess no particular purpose, however, except the somewhat secret pleasure he took in her company.

"Where've you been?" she asked as she drew away, eyes warm with unspoken adoration.

"Tucked away," he replied. "Working at one or two of the array of little problems presented to me in the last several weeks." None of them extraordinary, but one or two of some interest at least, and one of them now most definitely wrapped up in a tidy solution.
