Mel was pacing in front of the observation window, looking out occasionally as a particularly bright implosion illuminated the room.
She was waiting, but she didn't know what for. She figured that she would know what it was when it came.

But she grins inside. Of all immortals, Urania is the least likely to be called "normal," by anyone.
