Months, it has been, since Owen Davies heard the music that takes him to Milliways. He is not displeased to hear it now.

He isn't smiling, of course, but he never really does smile, so that's all right.

Lucy does smile, a little, though, when he passes, the way you smile to be polite, not quite paying complete attention.

Owen nods back in automatic response. His eyes never focus on her face.

She notices that. A little. Not entirely consciously, but in the way where she wonders if perhaps she'd spilled her tea on her shirt, like something's a bit off, or if there's something of interest behind her.

A glance both behind and down says she hasn't got either tea or interesting background, and when she looks up again she frowns, just a little, before venturing, "Good evening," still not certain what feels odd.

"Good evening," Owen addresses the air above one of Lucy's shoulders. "Owen Davies," he introduces himself. He still doesn't look straight at Lucy when he offers her his hand to shake.
