Raguel is at the bar, an untouched glass of beer in front of him. He's not exactly there in spirit, judging by the faraway expression on his face, but he's quite willing to be interrupted.
Perhaps the writer plopping down not too far away from him may serve as a distraction, though it looks like he may launch into a writing spell as soon as he orders something to drink.
Raguel snaps out of his reverie with an effort. He starts to speak to the newcomer immediately, then hesitates. But it's too late now - the man's glanced up. Raguel gives him an apologetic smile.

"No, I got my drink from a waitrat. I-- I don't usually order from her," he adds, sounding a little embarrassed.
"She doesn't like me very much. But I've never seen her refuse other people."

"Tell me you didn't hit your head this time."
If her tone lacks bite, it's certainly not because she may be a little concerned.

"Then what has you so distracted?"
It's more a demand than a request--in tone if not in words.

He gives her a pointed look.
"Yes, I'm taking into account your opinion that falling from a height again is a stupid idea."

"Raguel?"

"Yeah?" he says, leaning one elbow on the bar.

"I'd wondered if you were too far away to hear me talking."

A very bouncy Billy comes along and even has a smile for Raguel. A lot has happened since they saw each other last.

"Evening," he says, trying to stop himself from reaching for the cigarettes.
"Did-- How are you?"

he sighs and nods.
"He was stopped... he went too far and the Prescence finally acted."
