Alright, so perhaps Ace isn't so continuously fitness-savvy as that, but she hasn't felt terribly fit to fly of late, so running has been resorted to as a means to keep the wilder half satisfied. Not quite as good as her usual mode of operations, but it will do, for now

It's closer than her suite and she won't be breaking any rules. Not that she plans to ask Baby for privacy or anything. Mel has no modesty.
But she needs to leave a note for Alanna as well.

She's slipping on court shoes as she walks, holding a pair of leather gloves in the other hand.
"Not the ideal outfit for action heroing," she mutters.

"Left my gun and scythe with Baby," Mel says, deliberately ignoring the reactions from then on in.
Bar apparently trusts Mike and Mel. She's even provided period weapons for them, and the pistol is slipped into the back of Mel's skirt before gloves pulled on.
"Now we just need to find a way to get there."

Mel fidgets slightly with the hair that's tucked up under her hat, and smirks.
"We have one plan, and if that doesn't work, we have back ups," she assures them both. "It's not like we have a shortage of friends with the means to interdimensional travel."
But then she's looked up and spied plan A.
"Don't wait up, Sparky, OK?"
