Kevin comes downstairs, glancing around the room for Darien - for all the good it might do him - and settles at a table near the infirmary door.

Oh yeah, he knows the letter's missing. And he knows where it went.

And Darien's there, at the bar, having his breakfast. He notices Kevin sit down and nods his way.

Kevin nods back, and after a moment, gets up and walks over, taking the next stool along.

"Morning."

"Morning."

He looks to the counter and then to Kevin.

"Get you breakfast?"

"Sure." He smiles. "Thanks."

Why no, the letter isn't hanging in the air with the pair of them trying not to mention it. Of course not.
