It is a very nervous woman that slips down into bar from the security office. She dares not lift her face for the shame of her actions, nor can even the brightness of her needlework lighten her mood. It matters not that others had fallen to such a dark curse, it is not an excuse, nor is it forgivable ( Read more... )

Svava would be... one step behind. Not literally, but she missed Khemrys in the cells, and missed her at her room. After a search of the bar, there was some time taken to put on warm clothes to go outside, as the weather had turned back to winter the last few days.

Unfortunatly, the fastest way to search is rather hampered by one hand wrapped carefully in bandages. Nothing too bad, but because the blood had been for helgisiðir, Svava would not heal them. So, she is heading for the paths nearest the bar, on foot.

Svava blinks, and sighs with a frown. "I do try to clean the cuts afterwards- as soon as I have time to do so. Sometimes there isn't."

Such as being right in the middle of a battle with a Wraith.

"And... normally such normal things I would heal, but not when they were done for those things, you see."

"It is no blame upon you Lady!" she assured, slipping into her clothing with a distracted air.

"I regret I have none of my simples...nothing to help..."

"We can get some from the Bar, for this time- until you have a chance to grow, gather and prepare your own later." Svava nods, pulling off her shawl to hand to Khemrys to wear as well.

"We will have you better" she agreed, slipping the shawl around her shoudlers gratefully.

Then she'll come run again.

"I'm not worried about that- just with my hand that hurt, it would have messed up flying. Which would have been nice today." With a faint sigh, standing up.

"Flying?" she asked, a little wide eyed as she walked beside Svava.

Was Lady Svava also an Old One?!

Svava nods, looking up to the bits and pieces of the sky between the trees.

"Before- before other events, I had the ability given to me, to shift. It was to help in the duties I had, though it was given with a price. The magics had been set into the clasp of a cloak I had, and for the spells to be set properly, a part of my soul was tied into it." She purses her lips, frowning faintly.

"There was risk, with that, of course. If someone else ever got ahold of the clasp.... Or if I left it here and went to someone's world." A quiet sigh, then she looks back to Khemrys, and smiles faintly.

"Risks, yes- but in many ways it was worth it, perhaps."

She shook her head softly, padding quietly for a time "Lady, I mean no disrespect...but that is a fair high risk. Flight must be wondrous...but a persons soul is far too valuabel to bargaina against so...I do not think highly of those that did so"

"... I do not remember it being done. I was in service to Those that ruled Asgard, where I lived, and... it was not my choice." Quietly, carefully.

"I had to go home, from here, to fight in a war. I returned, nearly dead. The Lady Moiraine started work to heal me, and broke the spell on the clasp. Then Archie healed me. So- the spells on the clasp are gone, and that piece of my soul returned for it."

She listened quietly then nodded "Good, though I certainly do not rejoice in your wounds...a soul belongs whole and safe" she admitted.

"They must have been cruel Lords"

"... that could be said for some of them." Quietly.

"Or that they were doing what they thought needed to be done. ... It was all complicated, and..." Svava bites her lip.

She tilted her head to the side "Some were cruel...and necessity? Were you at war Lady Svava? Or beleguered?"

"... We were going to be. Ragnarok, the final battle and the end of the Nine Worlds. It was foretold, caused by events that our Lord was at the root of-"

"Looking back at even the little I know now, I wonder if things had been different if Odin hadn't been so cruel."

She hesitantly slipped an arm around Svava's shoulders, giving a quick hug before her arm dropped once more. "We can but follow our lords at times...I am sorry t brought such devestation..."

"No."

For something his size, Sleipnir moves quietly. Walking on top of the snow, he is suddenly on the path in front of the two women, his ears back.

"You forget who brought the armies to the shores of Asgard, skjaldmeyjar."
