See, ordinarily, Angel would notice that? Only right now, he's facing away from the door (toward the fireplace, as happens when you sit there sometimes), with his nose in a battered, barely-duct-taped-together book. Mark leaves Joanne to paperwork at the bar, and he walks over to Angel, glomping from behind. Wordlessly. So, really, all of a sudden, there's a pair of arms hugging Angel, and a blond head on Angel's shoulder.

Jack is frowning at Mark. It's not a "omg u r stoopid" frown. It's more of a "You look like hell" kind of frown. Mark seems to be knee deep in conversation, so he's not sure if he should interrupt.
Mark raises an eyebrow at Jack, then just shrugged at Joanne, who wandered off to the bar, to get Mark a drink. Mark, just sat down at a table, a bit caught up in, well, himself. However, he cracks a bit of a smile at Jack. "Er, hi. Was stuck in jail for a week. Long story."
