Conan inna bar, buried in one serious mess of newspapers. He's quickly...and, I mean VERY quickly...skimming over sheets, seeming to blow through papers in a blur. There is a nearly untouched cola nearby.

Feel free to poke, he could use a break...

Rachel blinks a few times as she sees the little boy buried among the newspaper. Moving them through increadible speed is what is getting her now.

She sits next to him on the floor. Watching him with curiousity.

He stops, reading over one page, as his hand moves and picks up his cola, bringing it up close to his face, but not drinking yet. "There's just no sign of them...I don't get it..." he mutters softly to himself, furling his eyebrows at the page, before sipping at his drink.

She just watches him for a short moment, before asking. "No sign of who, Conan? Who are you looking for?"

He looks like he's concentrating so hard on this task. Very unusual for a seven year old.

A quick gasp and jump, and he's to his feet, smiling nervously as he scratches a point behind his head, looking up at Rachel. "U-uh, I was looking for something about that Yoko Okino lady we helped a long while back..." he quickly replies.

There's a bemused woman peering down at what appears to be some sort of child-newspaper stack hybrid.

"...You in some sort of race?"

He blinks and glances up, then back to the papers. "Actually, I'm looking for a sign of someone I know in the newspapers of where I'm from..." he says softly, thumbing to another page.

"No electronic access, then?" Because running a simple name search would be easier than diving through stacks of newspaper.

He sips from his cola. "No, it's not that...I am looking for any news on him in hard copies, because a lot of the time, some things don't get transfered well electronically..."
