*Alanna sits by the notice board, scrolls, papers and the sign-up sheet spread out on the table before her. She idly twists the stem of her apple and then sets the fruit off to her side with a sigh

"Sir Alanna of Trebond?" The military man approaches, stopping a polite distance away.

[a_lioness]

Aye, that's me.

*She shifts the dragon in her lap with an apologetic smile and nods.*

You're here about the security position, I presume?

[firmus_piett]

"Yes, I am. Firmus Piett, former admiral of the Imperial Fleet." A polite nod.

[a_lioness]

Ah, yes. *She locates his name on the list and quirks an eyebrow.* Have a seat.

It says here that you're military, but you had a fleet?

[vaapadmaster]

"Sir Alanna?" The Jedi Master, just finished with his early morning drills.

[a_lioness]

Indeed.

*Alanna smiles and gestures to the seat opposite.*

And you are?

[vaapadmaster]

"Mace Windu. I subscribed for the security position." He takes the offered seat.

[a_lioness]

Mace Windu... a Jedi. *Alanna smiles, nodding.* I've met Luke Skywalker.

What do you mean here by 'caretaker?' *She points to his name on the sign-up sheet.*

Last time they had met, Aeryn had looked a little unhealthy. But today she looked healthy and at least content.

"Alanna." And she smiled, holding out a hand for Alanna to shake.

[a_lioness]

*Indeed, she looks healthy and far less pregnant. Alanna smiles and shakes her hand firmly.*

Aeryn. How are you?

[just_a_soldier]

"I've been well. As always, there are things to stress me out, but I deal with them."

Aeryn pushed her hair back, sitting politely in a nearby seat.

"And you?"

Good, good. That's all anyone can do.

*Alanna eyes the sign-up sheet.*

Busy.

I still have my notes from last round, as promised. Why don't you tell me what you've been up to since last we spoke.

[molly_razorgirl]

Molly's watched a couple of people wandering over to the table and figures out this is who she's looking for.

So, the next time the seat's empty, she makes her way over.

"I'm guessing you're Sir Alanna?"

[a_lioness]

*Making notes, Alanna nods and waves toward the empty seat without actually looking up just yet.*

I am, yes. *She smiles at Molly, tapping her pen against the sign-up sheet.* Ah, we've met before, haven't we? Once?

[molly_razorgirl]

Molly blinks, then shakes her head (as if to clear it), smiling. "Oh, yeah, that's right. Easy to lose track of time in this place. I remember now. It's mainly because of that earlier conversation that I'm here. Still haven't found much to do and am getting pretty deep in hock to the bar here."

[a_lioness]

*Alanna sighs.*

You are not, by any means, alone. All right, why don't you start by giving me your full name and any titles you hold. Oh, and where are you from again?

[gravity_shifter]

Sikozu approaches, eyeing the dragin.

"You are Alanna?" The question, it should be noted, is not posed to said dragon, but to the woman.

[a_lioness]

*The dragon appreciates it as Puff is CLEARLY a superior name to Alanna.

Sadly, Alanna might agree.*

I am. *She looks up with a smile.* And your name?

[gravity_shifter]

"Sikozu Shanu." She nods once, debating whether or not to partake in the Earth custom of shaking hands. She decides against it. "I am here about the Security position."

[a_lioness]

*Alanna nods, gesturing to the empty seat.*

Please, sit. Sikozu? *She finds her name on the list and smiles.* A freedom fighter, huh? Under what circumstances and for whose freedom?
