When the door in the library opens into Milliways tonight, Rose is only mildly surprised, and not at all annoyed; a place where she does not have to worry about the ever-increasing press of time is, after all, a welcome break. What does take her rather more by surprise is the sudden additional weight on top of her head

There's a strangled noise of suprise from nearby, and a troll staring.

"...Rose?"

"Apologies" she says with a wry grin, unthinking leaning towards Rose and reaching to seize her chin to point her head in her direction. "Let Me See"

Rose blinks, surprised by the touche, but obliges, sticking her tongue out. It's not a bad bite, but there is a little bit of pale purple blood oozing out.

"It Is Not Bad At All" she declares after a moment of inspection, a smile tugging at her mouth. She had theorized that this would likely be the range of Rose's blood caste. "I Have Seem Worse"

"Is there anything I ought to do for it? Or will it see to itself?"

While she has bitten her tongue before, she has never drawn blood, and she has no reason to think that a trollish mouth is any less a cesspit of bacteria than a human one.

"It Will Be Just Fine If You Leave It Be" she answers, belatedly realizing she's still holding Rose's chin in her hand, and quickly releases it with a faint flush.

"Oh. Thank you."

Another smile.

"Ah
Youre Quite Welcome Rose"

Rose eyes the calendar.

"So, given the apparent date, it would seem that I am going to be like this for at least another day. If that is in fact how it works. Is there anything... trollish I should do? That would make this transformation worthwhile?"

[bloodyvirgo]

She makes a soft noise in consideration.

"I Would Offer Some Troll Cuisine
But I Do Not Want To Disturb You Further"

"If you think that it is worth trying, I might as well give it a chance."

"I Will Obtain Us A Plate Of A Few Troll Foods
If You Will Not Hold It Against Me Later"

"I make no promises, but I shall endeavour to the best of my ability from forming any unfounded grudges."

"I Appreciate The Effort In Advance"

She stands, smoothing her skirt.

"I Will Return Momentarily With Our Meal"

"I shall await your return with bated breath."

[bloodyvirgo]

A swish of skirts, and Kanaya is weaving herself through people to get to the large bar.

Soon enough, she returns bearing a tray with samplings of troll cuisine.
