It's been several days since her last visit, oh yes -- days in which, no longer wishing to be trapped either here or anywhere, she's made use of her ability to both leave the bar and find it again.

Successfully so, it would seem, given the fact that Blodwen is once again comfortably settled in at a table with tea and biscuits, and looking very ( Read more... )

A display of weakness it is, and well she knows it, but she steps back all the same, glaring at him the entire time without so much as a blink.

"Tell it to your little friend, shining one," she spits. "He it was who disturbed the peace, such as it is here; he it was who attacked me, and I will not apologize for defending myself against his blows, oh no. Keep him from me, and we shall have no quarrel."

The tang of Free Magic and the poison mixes with the thoughts in his head and Sameth tries again to reach for consciousness and something.

"You should meet his mother." The creature laughs, not a pleasant sound as it continues to advance. Slowly, unhurried, as though she were not that big of a threat that he would have to hurry to defeat her.

"Ah, but I've heard of you, Blodwen Rowlands. You've disturbed the peace here before, have you not? Many times, in many ways. Harmed friends of mine, friends of my friends. Long before this idiot stumbled through the doorway."

The one he's slowly making his way towards, leaving scorch marks on the floor in his wake.

"Oh, and so that is to be the way of it, then?"

Her face behind the gauze veil twists in a snarl, and Blodwen moves swiftly, kicking off a slipper and stamping her bare foot upon the floor as she glares at him.

A wave of decay explodes outward toward the Bright Shiner and the prince lying fallen behind him, tearing through the floor and turning it into rotten timber and crumbling board.

The floor blossoms and disappears from under Sameth and he falls onto the hood of a rather nice blue 1957 Thunderbird and the pain of his wrist breaking pulls him slightly from the poison.

Now he is able to get out a truer scream though that hurts and he tries to figure out how to move and wake.

The Bright Shiner snarls with a sound like a crack of thunder next to one's ear, lunging forward, but stumbles as the suddenly rotten floor gives way under him.

The dry, rotten wood catches fire quickly as the Bright Shiner falls through, landing with a crash into the roof of a silver Aston Martin DB5. The car's advanced GPS system sends up blue sparks as it is crushed, a dozen caltrops dropping from behind the rear license-plate. A pair of guns emerge from the headlights and begin firing randomly as the technology inside the car is destroyed, bullets peppering the side of a large, suspicious, satellite-topped van and the Roman chariot parked beside it.

Soft, cruel laughter floats on the air for an instant, but that is all; she does not remain to gloat, nor even to see how far the fire might spread.

By the time the two are able to make their way back up from the garage, Blodwen is gone.

It takes far too long to be able to figure out how to move since everything hurts and his wrist most of all, but finally Sameth can move.

The Bar seems rather far away from where he is so Sameth works on trying to get to it.

As the Aston Martin burns, there are creaking sounds from it as Yrael pulls himself up from the wreakage. The light dims as he clothes himself in his human-shape, looking around himself and up at the hole in supreme irritation.

And then looking over at Sameth.

Yrael drops down from the silver wreck and approaches the Thunderbird and the Prince on it's severely impacted hood. "Hold still. I'll get you out of there." It's not gently-said, nor even in a kind tone, but it is said.

Nodding would hurt so Yrael gets a grateful look through the pain and poison along with a bit of an apology too before Sameth passes out again.

A quick spell extinguishes the lingering flames of the Aston Martin and the rotted floorboards overhead.

Yrael then picks up the unconscious Prince, carrying him over to the elevator up to the main barroom and to the infirmary, where someone more suited to healing could see to his wounds.
