My goal was to get to Dublin that night, but unfortunately because of the train strike that did not happen. A lady at the train ( Read more... )

You 100% should if you are in Inverness! It's called Touchwood House. I followed their Instagram hahaha.

Nice pics. I like the one under the bridge, looks very artistic. Nice that you got some partially-cloudy days at least. When my parents went to Scotland, skies were always grey in pictures.

The tour operator actually told us about that under the bridge shot, so we all copied his advice lol.

The weather was surprisingly good while I was there. Mostly sunny the entire time, I only experienced one actual rain day.

I am enjoying living vicariously thru your travelogue. I haven't been to Ireland (it's on the list!) but have always been fascinated with The Giant's Causeway since I was a kid thanks to the Houses of The Holy album.

Scotland is a fave of Tyler's and mine, too - we can't wait to go back there! I wish travel wasn't so damn expensive. And yeah, I will HAVE to know that witchy ABNB, bc of course we will want to stay there!

Looking forward to the next chapter of your journey.

I wish I could've seen more of Ireland, I definitely need to go back at some point because I didn't do it justice. I feel like Northern Ireland I covered decently though.

It's called Touchwood House! You would honestly love it.

Wow! Sounds like a great trip, minus the train strike. Ireland and Scotland look so beautiful.
