BTW... just curious. You get yours to have a cartoon/drawing quality to them that mine don't really have. Does it just depend on the picture you start with or is there something else you do?

I think it just depends on the picture. If you look at my original base before I did anything to it, it kinds of had a cartoonish feel and Probably the sharpening that I did enhanced that. Oh! When I do my initial sharpening, I always sharpen my base, not the duplicates. So on the step where I duplicated the base, brought it to the top, desaturated it and all that, since the base was sharpened, the whole icon essentially got sharpened again. That may be where that came from.

Keep doing these tutorials!

Even those of us who are relative beginners can follow you!

Good job!

(by the way, for the time being, my personal result from that banner tut you did is on my userpage. It's not as good as yours...but if you want to see how well a beginner can follow you, you might want to take a look! :) )

Thanks!

Do you think you could do a tut for a desktop like the brown one you made for Jericho? That was really cool looking!!!

I have about all of your tuts bookmarked - I just have to find the time to sit down and try them all! Each one you post is better than the last! :)
