Alright, I first started with this texture from inxsomniax

I then chose the first picture that I wanted to use. Since these were very good scans already, all I did was size them down to fit on the texture, duplicate the base and set it to Screen 100% and add a Selective Color Adjustment Layer to take some of the yellow out of the picture. That was done by lowering the yellow in the yellow and neutral channels. I may have also smoothed her skin out a bit. The method you use to prepare your pictures will all depend on the pictures that youa re using.

Then I merged the layers and drug the picture over to the texture. I used a layer mask to rid of the background on the picture. But the eraser tool works also if you prefer that way. I set it to Softlight 100% and duplicated the layer, leaving it also at Softlight 100%.

I then added my next picture, also using the same method to prepare the picture and taking away the background with a layer mask. I also set this to Softlight 100% and duplicated the layer, setting that to Softlight 42%. After messing around with positioning the pictures, I decided to flip the first one.

The texture was bugging me. i liked the colors of it, but the...spatters and things on it, weren't working with where I wanted my pictures positioned(if that makes any sense at all. LOL) So I unlocked the layer(click twice on the little lock thing at the right of your layer on the layer palette or go to Layer>>New>>Background from Layer)And I gave it a good motion blue to make it all nice and smooth.

Now I wanted to add some decoration and with the idea that I wanted to do, I made a new a layer and then with my elliptical marquee too, I made a circle and filled it with white. I set the layer to Softlight 100% because the white was too glaring on Normal setting. Parts of her hair were showing through under the circle and looked really bad, so went back to the layer masks on each of the pictures and took out the parts of hair that were overlapping.

I wanted to add some swirly brushes underneath the circle so I made a new layer right below the circle layer and used these brushes from LeeDeeYa http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26902722/?qo=7&q=LeeDeeYa&qh=boost%3Apopular+age_sigma%3A24h+age_scale%3A5

The fist one was used on the left of the circle and the other on the right of the circle. I set the layer to Softlight 100% and erased any parts of the brushes that were showing through the circle.

Next I added my text inside the circle using Footlight MT Light font at 14pt in a dark green color that I selected off of the texture using the eye dropper tool. I duplicated the layer twice to make it dark enough to my liking. Under that I added a tiny text brush from fangirls_inc and duplicated that once. Off to the side of the graphic, I added some more brushes from LeeDeeya's set. These were set to Softlight 100%.

Now I had liked the...grunginess of the original texture and I wanted to put some of that back into my graphic after taking it all away. After trying a few things like putting the original texture above the blurred one and setting it to softlight and trying other blend modes, none of it I liked. I finally added this texture from meleada

I set the layer to Softlight 44% and loved how it looked.

And all done :)
