Dragon Tattoo Director Changes Ending

It is still 11 months from release but The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo director David Fincher has already caused controversy - he's completely changed the ending.

The film, based on Stieg Larsson's wildly successful novel, stars Daniel Craig as reporter Mikael Blomkvist who investigates the murder of a girl on an isolated island.

they wanted to do that in the swedish version to but noomi told the producer if they wanted to do that she was going to leave the project haha.

I too will try to reserve judgment, but even the (relatively) small changes to the books with the Swedish adaptations were difficult for me to accept. The decisions to make Mikael less promiscuous and Lisbeth more aggressive both seem like they risk compromising the themes of the book. And, if they plan to adapt the other books from the trilogy, could have considerable repercussions for later film installments.
