Thanks! I especially liked writing the flashback segments fleshing out their past relationships. The Krypton segment was a lot of fun.
I really felt bad for Kara writing this. There's no easy answer here. And the fun answer of a threesome didn't ring true here, at least not yet. ;) So I ended on a cliffhanger. Glad you liked it!
"[She] learned the meaning of love. And from that day on, [she] also knew the meaning of pain."
Paraphrased and repurposed from a quote about Hellboy, but I think it fits. I think it fits quite well here. I could do a rendition of that song "Love Hurts," but I'd look stupid. Regardless, this is quite an excellent story, and I am hoping that, in the end, everything works out for everyone.
Of course, I can't let this review end without commenting on Kon's scene in the beginning. Heh, heh, heh. That was hilarious. "Cat-fight? Sweet . . ." Well, not literally what he said, but the summation of what he was thinking, most likely. Tee-hee.
Thanks! That is a great quote. And I think it fits very well. I couldn't even begin sorting out the issues here, so that's why I left it open-ended. I'm glad you liked it.
