Aww. This was cute! Dick/Kon is somehow awesome.

The one thing that kind of threw me out of it was Kara having to be in a cast for the entire summer. I mean, don't kryptonians heal very quickly?

But besides that I liked it a lot. Dick and Kon's scenes made me giggle.

I don't think I've ever seen a Kryptonian break a bone before, so I didn't know for sure. You're probably right, so I'll make a quick edit. Thanks for catching that!

I'll admit, I'm mostly going by Smallville. I don't know if he ever broke a bone, but all of his kryptonite-related injuries healed pretty quickly when he was away from the kryptonite for a little while. I'd imagine that you could make an argument that it'd heal wrong if you didn't set it quickly, but yeah, I doubt it'd stay hurt.

Also, this is a cute AU.

I pretend Smallville doesn't exist. XD

My main experience is with an issue of Superman just after the Crisis, where he was shot by Bloodsport with a Kryptonite bullet. They got the bullet out, but he was shown as significantly weakened for a few issues after that.

Either way, I changed it to healing in about half-time. That should be enough to keep anyone else from pointing that out. Thanks. :)

Great entry, m'dear! I loved it, from start to finish! It had that 'feel' of summertime and anything possible! :)

I think you had the personalities of all the characters down, and even had me wanting to kick Kon for insulting the beach house. Kon, dear, even if you think the place is a dump, keep it to yourself! Very bad form. ;)

But the story was fun, and Clark was right: any moment was the perfect moment for the proposal. I think Bruce will learn. He's a quick learner, after all! ;)

Oh, and you know what else I liked? Your description of the coolers' contents! :) I think fic can be enhanced by going into detail at times and that was a yummy assembly of goodies Barbara had there! :)

And yay for Maine lobsters! ;)

Yeah, Kon was quite the obnoxious little punk in the early days of his book. I wanted to capture a bit of that. XD

Heee, that was *cute*! And a really neat blending of "generations"--Kon and Dick is never a pairing I'd considered before, ditto with Babs and Kara, but they were both fun--the girls were terribly cute. :) And it's neat to see how everyone is different and yet the same, given the situations.

Also, Maine lobsters! *does a dance* Only the best for Bruce! ;) (Last year they started tagging lobsters caught in Maine with a special state seal/tag/thingy because other states were selling theirs and claiming they were from Maine? There is your random trivia for the night. ;) Hee.) Also, Bruce paid a LOT for those lobsters.
